Back in December 2009 the lovely Strawberry Gems wrote about me in one of her Christmas blog posts. What a little gem! You can read her post about my 2009 Christmas cards here.

Any way I wanted to return the favor and blog a little about Strawberry Gems!

As well as being a talented designer she also loves to dabble in a bit of paper mache and collage producing gorgeous bespoke mannequins which can be used for all things jewelry related and much more! Below are some super pics of her work by Strawberry Gems.

She first makes a cast out of the paper mache by using an old mannequin bust she found in London town. The paper mache is then covered with an array of different fancy papers in any colour of your choice.

I also love to look at Strawberry Gems site as she blogs about all things design, interior, film and accessories related. Her blog is a great source of inspiration for me as an illustrator!
