
Last weekend I was lucky enough to go along to Goodwood Festival of Speed in deepest darkest Sussex.
The festival is a massive celebration of motorsport history and culture and is one of the greatest in the world.
Owners of racing cars (old and new), bikes, hot rods and anything speedy go along to the 3 day festival and exhibit their pride and joy as well as drive them (at some speed) up the famous “hill climb” in the grounds of Goodwood House. The whole idea is that the spectators can get up close and personal with the cars of their dreams and see them being driven at speed round the circuit.
I saw and heard a lot of cars while I was there but my favorites had to be these little beauties:


My boyfriend, Rob, later told me that they are all Fiat’s from the 50′s and 60′s and I think they are the cutest things ever!
I absolutely love the wicker interiors and the retro paint work and finishes. The pastel colours and chrome set the little cars off a treat and the best bit has to be the anchor emblem on the front of this one:
