“Cock a doodle doo” illustration

A new little illustration inspired by the well known children’s nursery rhyme ”Cock a doodle doo”.

To me, chickens and cockerels are quite humorous in nature, and this one above is no different! They always seem to peck and cluck around their pens with robotic movements and poise! Cockerels in particular do this, strutting around like they own the place.

These birds are known for being notoriously noisy around their hens and also in the morning which lead me to create the illustration above. I wanted to emphasise this fact so I added a microphone to the illustration as this cockerel is particularly proud of his crow!

Chicken avec en tea towel

This month my creative outlet has been to make a chicken out of a tea towel! (Some may doubt this is creative at all but have a go!)

I was first shown this feat of imagination by my mum when I was around 5 or 6 years old. Me and my sis were amazed by what mum produced from a ordinary kitchen tea towel. Oh yes!

To create your very own “Chicken avec en tea towel” all you need is:

1. A tea towel – the jazzier the pattern the better
2. Hands x2
3. A table top

It’s that simple! Follow the instructions below:

Please note no tea towels were harmed in the making of this piece.
